I actually submitted some photos late one night to this contest after submitting some photos for 35 Awards 2018, I just saw the opportunity and just gave it a try. I've submitted 3 of my photos taken during a trip in Ceahlau Massif in December 2018. The trip offered us some unique photographing opportunities but also it was one of the hardest photo experiences ever. The snow was heavily falling for the past few weeks the mountain was covered with a thick layer of snow. From the meeting point we had to hike over icy paths to the chalet ( Dochia Chalet) for about two and a half hours. The temperature was around -10C and it was really interesting since it was my first night hike on the mountain. The next day we tried to get some sunrise shot but the fog was really heavy and we didn't get any sun light. After the sunrise we walked along the plateau and with the heavy snow we had some unique opportunities to take some amazing photos. But nature offered us the "cherry on top", the high light of the trip at sunset; at sunset the fog started to clear the sky and we got to take some amazing shots, within half an hour i manage to take some of the most amazing photos, that i had submitted for 35 Awards Winter landscapes 2019. Although I didn't manage to get one of the top spots in this competitions I think i did a great job because all the submissions were great and I feel honoured to be among the top 10% Winter Landscapes photographers and one of the three photos I've submitted got among the top 6% of all photos, but most of all the experience that the trip offered me was the best award ever!
Here are the photos:
TOP 6% Winter Landscape Photo
Top 16% Winter Landscape Photo
Top 27% Winter Landscape Photo
I would like to thank 35 Awards for the opportunity judge and showcase my photos!
